 1. What made you decide to accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior?

In my youth, I had a reverential fear of God. I knew I wanted to spend eternity in heaven. I decided to accept Jesus Christ as my Lord & Savior during Altar Call, one Sunday morning. Tears began to roll down my face uncontrollably, and I felt led to go to the altar, to confess with my mouth that I believed in my heart that Jesus is Lord.

2. What are you currently listening to?
 My current playlist consists of Everlasting God (William Murphy), The Harvest Song (Anthony Brown), Greater (Tasha Cobb), and a series on YouTube titled, Relationship Goals by Pastor Michael Todd
3. What are you currently reading?
The book that has my attention right now is FERVENT by Priscilla Shirer.
4. When did you really know for yourself that Christ is real?
It was confirmed for me that Christ is real when I felt Him (Holy Spirit) speaking directly to me. It was through a message being delivered by His man servant. This message was pivotal in my walk with Christ, resulting in me rededicating my life to Christ.
 
5. How do you maintain and keep a fresh relationship with Our Father?
Quiet time in prayer, reading and applying God’s Word daily, and attending weekly services or spiritual conferences help me to maintain a fresh relationship with my Father.
6. What do you like to do for fun?
Time with family/friends, traveling, reading, serving others, arts & crafts projects, and participating in a new adventure makes life fun for me.
7. What does it mean to you to live in HD (His Daughter)?
As a daughter of the Most High I am armed with WISDOM, I walk by FAITH, live in PEACE, and I have the ability to GIVE THANKS in every type of situation.
8. If you could have witnessed anything in the Bible, what would it be?
If I could witness any occurrence in the bible, it would be Elijah & the Prophets of Baal on Mt. Carmel – 1 Kings 18 or When Jesus Calls His First Disciples – Luke 5.
9. Current Bible translation you are using:
 I use multiple translations during my study time (KJV, NIV, Life Application), because I am able to gain a better understanding of God’s Word.
10: One scripture that calms you down:
A scripture that keeps me grounded is Philippians 4:8. Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.

Well hey spring and Happy Easter!

As we break ground, bloom into a brand new season, and hold hands with the very Creator who calls the tulips forth to blossom, let me be the first to welcome you to my site! I took a bit of a hiatus to seek revelation on what and how My Father would have me to share with you, and I’m back at it! There’s nothing like quiet time with my Daddy God 🙂

There’s a strong tie between winter and dormancy and spring and resurrection. What better day to work this thought out than on Easter Sunday!?

Sowing season begins when all is quiet, dark, and still. It’s the natural flow of the creation story.  In Genesis 1:1-3 the Word says,

“In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light.”

Do you notice how the story of creation began in the dark? It’s not a coincidence. Or, think about the development of a fetus. It happens in the dark in the womb. In the winter, animals and even annual plants are dormant for a season until the timing  and conditions are ripe for development.

Dormant is defined as a state of rest or inactivity. Even Jesus had a period of dormancy from birth to 30 years old. His formal ministry began when He was 30 years old!! Check out what He said when His own mom tried to get Him to manifest prematurely in John 2:4-

“Woman, why do you involve me?” Jesus replied. “My hour has not yet come.”

I mention all of this to say, dormancy is necessary for development and purposed execution, when the season is right. Over the course of the past several months Our Father has been speaking to me the word, “Arise.” Here I am, committing to surrender and partner with Him as He uses me to share His feminine design in me, with you. I am honored and excited (tad nervous about how deep He wants me to share) as I yield my will and comfort to BE the woman of His dreams that He designed me to Be. For Him, I will!
