The more you read the Word, the more you realize it is A LOT more simple than you thought.
So you want to know how to get your Heavenly Father’s attention? Besides the fact that He is completely in love and focused on you simply because you are YOU, here is what turns His head that extra “crank” ..lol.
In Mark 2:5 it says, “When Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralyzed man, “Son, your sins are forgiven.” Then later in Mark 2:10-11 Jesus says, “But I want you to know that the Son of Man has authority on Earth to forgive sins.” So He said to the man, “I tell you, get up, take your mat and go home.”
The key to Jesus speaking the Word that changed this man’s life forever was the fact that He “saw” their faith. Let me refresh your memory. This is the part of the Word where a paralyzed man and his four friends were trying to get him to Jesus so he could be healed. The house Jesus was visiting was way too full and the man’s friends couldn’t get him through the front door, so they took him on the roof and lowered him into the house so he could see Jesus. I mean talk about some ride or die friends!! #squadgoals
The point is, Jesus “saw” their faith because they believed so deeply that He would heal their friend that they went to the point of climbing on the roof and lowering their friend into the house! Now that is some faith!
Here’s a second example of the same thing. In Mark 5:32-34 it says, “But Jesus kept looking around to see who had done it. Then the woman, knowing what had happened to her, came and fell at his feet and, trembling with fear, told him the whole truth. He said to her, “Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace and be freed from your suffering.”
Did you notice it said Jesus was looking around to “see” who touched Him? This woman who had an issue of blood for 12 years put her faith in action so Jesus would “see” it. Have you figured it out yet? Faith has a look! When you put your “faith” into “action,” your Heavenly Father takes notice and His attention is drawn to you with a little something extra on it. In other words, when you begin to display outwardly what you believe in your heart concerning your Father, He takes notice!
Here are a few other scriptures for you to let sink in on this topic.
Matthew 9:36 When He saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd.
Hebrews 11:6 And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.
Matthew 13:58 And he did not do many miracles there because of their lack of faith.
So there it is! When your Heavenly Father “sees” your faith, He is moved. He gets excited because after all, He did call you to walk by faith and not by sight. (2 Corinthians 5:7) The question now becomes, how are you showing your faith?? Let’s talk about it. Drop a comment below if you’re needing some help “showing” your faith with a particular request you’ve been praying about. I’d love to help you!
In peace,
His Daughter
Finances!!! I am a single mother and I currently don’t make enough to live even afford a 1 bedroom apt (I currently live with family). And even with living with family I have more bills than money at the end of the month (student loans are kicking my butt AND I had my payments lowered as much as they would allow). I am grateful for my jobs because it is in my field and I’m doing what I love (it took me forever to break into my field) but I can’t help to worry and stress, two things I know are the opposite of faith. Any ideas?

Hey queen! I’m so glad you commented! I’m excited to partner with you in prayer! First of all, congrats to being resilient! I know when it seems the odds are stacked against you, it can be tough. Yet, you are a warrior pushing through and doing it all with integrity! Our Father sees that and will honor you for it! Secondly, praise God that you have family who are able to help you in your current time of need. Thank your Heavenly Father for that. Not everyone has that blessing, even if it isn’t your ideal living space at the moment. (That’s His provision.) Take care of your family’s home just like it was yours. When He sees that you are a good steward over what is someone elses, He honors that as well. Also, praise Him because you don’t just have a “job,” but you have a position of influence that you LOVE! That is awesome! (That’s His provision too.) Praising Him and telling Him that you are thankful for your portion makes a difference! Here are a few suggestions I have: write down a prayer asking Our Father specifically for what you desire. Put the date on it. Then thank Him that He heard and answered your prayer. Do this daily, thanking Him and believing that He has already done it because He wants to do it for you! Get excited and look eagerly for blessings in your life everyday. Change your attitude and don’t operate out of lack. Walk around like you KNOW your Father is The King and you lack NO GOOD thing! He won’t leave His daughter struggling. Do what you can to be responsible with money in the natural (budgeting, tithing, ect), but then really belive in your heart that He is bringing money into your pocket. I hope this helps! I’ll be standing in prayer with you! Let me know if you need more specific tips.
