Every so often, you’ll feel the need to sit down and reflect on your life. How have you grown? Do you know yourself better any more today than you did 6 years ago? How have your relationships changed? Did you let go of people and did you add people to your friend circle? Do the current people in your life bring value to you or do they withdraw from you? Have you developed spiritually, physically, financially, and emotionally? Do you feel stagnant? Do you need to work on being less guarded and more vulnerable? Are there risks you need to take that you’ve been putting off? Where have you been? Have you been walking in the dreams that have been burning in your heart? Or, have you been putting all of this off until………… “One day?”
Up until recently, this has been a reoccurring theme in my quiet time with Our Father. He mentally took me back to a time where I had more dreams than I can recount. I would say, ” Ouuuuu one day I’m going to ……..(fills in playlist of exhilarating dreams :)..” and I would carry on in this manner for moments on end. At my core, I am a dreamer, a visionary. I literally see and think in pictures 24/7. I knew from a very early age that my Daddy God purposely designed me this way. It was simply a part of myself that I couldn’t deny. Till this day if I lose something, after I ask the Holy Spirit to help me locate it, I’m given a mental image of where the item is located. It’s pretty cool to say the least.
Getting back to the point of this post, (problems of having a multi-tasking mind..lol)-He started to remind me of those dreams, visions, and ideas He placed in me years ago, along with the reminder that I’m not that creative in myself to come up with those things. Yet, His Holy Spirit within me announced and continues to replay those dreams in me with the intent that I will say “yes” to Him and cooperate with Him as He manifests His visions through me.
Always remember Our Father requires a vessel to work through. WE are His hands and feet here on Earth. He works through the vessel of people. Jesus is a vessel He works through. You are a vessel He has the potential to work through as you give Him your “yes.”
2 Chronicles 16:9 puts it like this: For the eyes of the LORD roam throughout the earth to show himself strong for those who are wholeheartedly devoted to him.
How can He show Himself strong in you if you are holding back your obedience to Him? In other words, if you keep saying “One day I’ll do this and this and blah, blah, blah, how will He ever blaze His light, glory, and strength through you so that all will know that it wasn’t you, but it was most certainly God Almighty who graced you to build that enterprise, raise those children, build that school, walk in peace, design that boutique, multiply your streams of income, ect?
My urging is this: There is not a day called “one day.” It has never existed on ANY calendar in the world. Let it be known, the season of “One day” is today! Give our Father your “yes” and begin to cooperate with Him. Watch Him unleash and unharness His treasure of miracles, visions, dreams, and blessings He has stored up for you and the world to witness through you! You’re only given ONE life and you have to live this one as surrendered as you know how! He wants to ASTOUND the world through you for His glory! Why not let Him!? Today, give Him your “yes!”
P.S. I never said it would’t be scary. When He gives you visions that you can’t even conceive in your own mind, it will be daunting, but take heart because He has overcome the world. Be encouraged daughters!
John 16:33 “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”
In peace,
His Daughter
A powerful word Tasha! Amen.
